In 2004, I went to the nation of Honduras on my first short term mission trip. I was unaware the spiritual DNA change that was about to occur in my life. I would come away from this encounter with the nation of Honduras leaving me forever changed! I lead worship for the team and served along side my spiritual mom and sister in prayer ministry. It was not unusual at the end of hours of ministry to find me at the alter giving the Lord thanksgiving and praise; praying, weeping and looking at my hands, amazed and in awe how the Lord had used a broken vessel like myself for His glory.
My encounter with Honduras is not complete, just on hold. I have learned you only go when He says go. I will go back and pour once more into the youth pastors and leaders who serve the next generation…in His time.
